Rivals is the newest of the big Roblox shooters to ship a custom crosshair field, and its bright, high-contrast arenas punish thin white reticles. Coloured dots and rings read far better here, which is why the Da Hood aesthetic decals crossed over so quickly.
How to change your crosshair in Rivals
- Open Settings from the Rivals main menu.
- Scroll to the Crosshair options.
- Paste the decal ID into the Custom Decal field.
- Confirm and enter a match to check contrast against the map lighting.
- Switch to a coloured decal if a white reticle is disappearing on bright surfaces.
Choosing a Rivals crosshair
Colour matters more here than in any other Roblox shooter
Cyan, green and pink hold up against the light arena surfaces. White and light grey disappear the moment you aim at a wall.
Rings read better at speed
Rivals movement is fast. A circle reticle is easier to reacquire mid-strafe than a thin four-arm cross.
